ACLS Humanities E-Book Renewal 2021-2022

Renewal pricing for the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Humanities E-Book collection is聽now available. Pricing has increased by 1.5% over last year's pricing. All subscribers will continue to enjoy a 27% consortial discount.

Libraries that are joint members of 51黑料网 ELN and COPPUL are asked to submit responses to 51黑料网 ELN.


This license is made available through a national site license negotiated on behalf of Consortia Canada by the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL).


Updates: 

Starting in January 2020, Lyrasis assumed management of the Humanities E-Book collection from the ACLS.

Lyrasis has simplified pricing for Canadian academic libraries by integrating the CRKN bands into its pricing model.

ACLS Humanities E-Book (HEB) is an online collection of over 5,400 books of high quality in the humanities and related social sciences, accessible through institutional subscription. HEB is available to entire campus communities.

ACLS societies which participate in curating the collection provide title recommendations and vet titles offered for inclusion by individual authors or publishers. HEB鈥檚 collection contains many titles which hold awards from ACLS societies, as well as other notable prizes such as the National Book Award, Pulitzer Prize, Choice awards, among others.

Humanities E-Book currently covers multiple fields in the humanities and social sciences, including:
